DIY: Sugar Wax

Hair removal can be quite expensive, but it is something that most women take part in regularly.
There is an inexpensive DIY Sugar Wax that you can easily make at home. The process will not need any wax strips, since you will be using your fingertips.

Sugaring is safer because the mixture sticks to your hair, not to your skin. You can apply sugar wax against direction of hair growth

Ingredients:

2 cups of sugar
½ cup lemon juice
½ cup water

Directions:

Mix all the ingredients together over the stove on high. Keep stirring the mixture. When you start seeing bubbles, reduce the heat to medium and keep stirring until all of the sugar has melted and the mixture has turned into a darker brown.
Test the mixture with a spoon. It should be hard enough to spread and sticky enough to pull.

Once the mixture has cooled down, you can start waxing!
