Green Smoothie is a good health trend that I personally love. It is easy to make for a snack or better yet, for breakfast. It is high in vitamins and minerals.
1. Choose a base that is best for you. for athletic performance, choose coconut water. Coconut water has the same electrolytic balance as human blood. For energy choose green tea, which also lowers cholestrol levels, and for weight loss, choose purified water.
2. This is the most important part when making a green smoothie-choosing your greens. You can choose any greens that you like, but the most popular ones are kale,spirulina and spinach.
3. To make the smoothie even healthier, put in 1 tbs coconut oil, 1 tbs chia seeds and 1 cup of organic fruit. I like to choose any kind of berries.
4. Mix in bee pollen, raw cacao or raw maka for a boost!
That's all! Of course, you can add any extra things like fruit, if you like. Mix all the ingredients in a blender and once that's done, put it in a glass and enjoy the taste of healthiness!
